The Grange

The Grange is a majestic and luxurious former Georgian rectory sleeping up to twenty two people, the perfect place to stay with your friends and family for that special celebration, or just for a relaxed break. With our beautiful Orangery seating up to 50 people we are the ideal place for intimate wedding receptions. For corporate clients we offer relaxation, break out rooms and complete privacy. Your stay can be anything from totally self catered to fully catered with a range of options in between.  

Set in seventeen acres of private parkland in the attractive Somerset village of Horsington the house has a stone-flagged main hall, four elegant reception rooms, a farmhouse kitchen with a four-oven Aga, and eight bedrooms accommodating up to eighteen people.  Next to the house is the Dovecote providing an additional two bedrooms with room to sleep a further four people, which is self-contained and has its own family room, kitchen and bathroom.

Outside, in the magnificent formal gardens, there is an open air heated swimming pool (available between May and October), with nearby hot tub and sauna. The main house boasts a snooker room with three-quarter size table, and a games room with dart board and table tennis. For those who like exercise we offer a hard tennis court, croquet lawn, small football pitch, and bicycles of varying sizes.

We work hard to minimise our impact on the environment and the Grange is powered by renewable energy.

Our price is all inclusive unless guests choose to use a service we don't normally provide,                          ie. something from the "Things to Do" section of the web site.
