Walking in Somerset
Set in the heart of the lovely Blackmore Vale, the Grange is the ideal starting point for many walks of differing lengths allowing you to discover the beauty of Somerset. We are a short distance from the beautiful National Trust property of Stourhead and adjacent Alfred's Tower with its lovely woodland walks. It is a matter of miles from Horsington to the Monarch's and Macmillan Ways.
It is an easy walk from the Grange to local gourmet pubs.
The stunning World Heritage Jurassic Coast is within realistic driving distance and there's always the possibility of picking up a fossil or two, or just overlooking the sea from one of Dorset's fine coastal restaurnants.
The Grange is a majestic former Georgian Rectory, set in seventeen acres of private parkland in the attractive Somerset village of Horsington. The house has a stone-flagged main hall, four elegant reception rooms, a farmhouse kitchen with four-oven Aga, and eight bedrooms accommodating up to eighteen people.
