Why struggle with airports, ferries, delays and strikes when the beauty of Somerset is on your doorstep? Set in four acres of lovely gardens Horsington Grange is a large, luxurious country house sleeping twenty people with a wide range of entertainment on site including swimming pool, hot tub, snooker, cinema room and a spacious Orangery, ideal for that special party. The Grange is the perfect base to use for exploring the delights of the area.

Discover Wells, England's smallest city, with its beautiful cathedral, street markets and mediaeval architecture. Follow in the the footsteps of the monks to the top of Glastonbury Tor for a stunning view of the Somerset Levels and see how Somerset got its name. On the way home pop into Clark's Village for a bargain or two from their many outlet shops. 

Somerset boasts some of the most beautiful National Trust properties, amongst them Stourhead - regularly featured on Radio 4 for its fabulous autumn colours, Montacute House - used most recently in the filming of Wolf Hall and the White Princess, and Alfred's Tower with its 205 steps leading to spectacular views across four counties.

Give way to nostalgia and go back in time by visiting Haynes Motor Museum with its extraordinary collection of old cars and motorbikes. If you prefer the air, then the Fleet Air Arm Museum at RNAS Yeovilton is the place for you with its history of naval aviation from 1909 until the present day. 

For music lovers, we are half an hour from Glastonbury.

    The Grange is a majestic and luxurious former Georgian rectory sleeping 20 people, the perfect place to stay with your friends and family for that special celebration, or just for a relaxed break. With our beautiful Orangery seating up to 50 people we are the ideal place for intimate wedding receptions. Your stay can be anything from totally self catered to fully catered with a range of options in between. Set in seventeen acres of private parkland in the attractive Somerset village of Horsington the house has a stone-flagged main hall, four elegant reception rooms, a farmhouse kitchen with a four-oven Aga, catering kitchen and 8 bedrooms accommodating up to 16 people. The Dovecote sleeps a further 4. Sofa beds are available at an additional cost.
